Looking forward to colder months. I am inspired by the ocean no matter what the season. Late fall surf casting in the cold to mid summer warmth. The feelings are similar and contained within the scope of grandeur, calm and the reality of place in this world.

Some recent work with a great local company here in Boston. B Good burgers. Making an effort to keep things local and fresh. When Jon from b.good was talking to me about his vision and what kind of image he was looking to put out there, I knew this was the kind of company I could relate with. Real, good and local. Actually the motto is “real.food.fast.” Know where your food comes from and keep it local. Shot in the original restaurant location in the Back bay and then headed to a local farm that sources much of the produce.

9-7-11 the end of summer
So as we enter September the summer of 2011 is now a memory. I was able to spend a great deal of time with my family. The value of that is unsurpassed. Now for a visual representation.

Full page in the recent HHMI bulletin of Darrell Irvine, a bioengineer who is working on remodeling cell surfaces for immune system defenses and drug acceptance to the specific cells in need. This kind of thinking will hopefully turn cancer on its head one day.

Spending a good chunk of time shooting travel stuff in New Hampshire. Dream job comes to mind when I do travel work. New places and people that I discover, encounter and bump into make for greatness.
